Community Service Requirement

UNM is proud to partner with Crossroads Crown CARES as its national platform. The Crown CARES (Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools/Society) program is specifically designed for pageant systems and peer ambassadors who wish to promote awareness as a platform on the epidemic of bullying in schools, along with cultivating a safe, kind and respectful environment and most importantly teach skills to develop social responsibility in school-age children, youth and teens. Each delegate is required to raise $100 toward our national platform. Crossroads Youth Center, the  501c3 youth organization that manages the program, operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation.
